The sleek lines of the featherhorn, coupled with a reflex design, enhance shooting qualities, making it almost equal in speed to the recurve with virtually no hand shock.  The 5 alternating layers of wood on the back of the riser, added for strength and beauty, make it a difficult choice whether to attach a leather wrap.  Limb tips are reinforced the same as recurves to accept fast flite string.  The Featherhorn is available in 62", 64", or 66" lengths.
